Editorial Policy
Our editorial policy governs how we choose topics, write guides, and maintain accuracy over time.
Topic selection
We publish guides on topics where readers face a genuine decision and where reliable, factual information is available. We do not publish content for purely commercial purposes or to game search rankings.
Research standards
Every guide is based on primary sources: manufacturer documentation, peer-reviewed research, official government or veterinary guidance, or direct expert input. We cite sources at the end of each article.
Accuracy and updates
Articles include a publication date and an "updated" date. We review and update guides when underlying facts change. Corrections are made promptly and noted inline if the change affects a key claim.
Conflicts of interest
Editors and writers disclose any financial relationships with companies or products covered in their articles. No payment is accepted in exchange for favorable coverage.
Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links. These are clearly labelled. Affiliate relationships do not influence which products are recommended or how they are described.
Complaints
If you believe an article is factually incorrect, please contact us. We review all corrections within five business days.
